There was a part of me that didn’t want to finish this story because Stella was the last Single Kringle. The emotional connection and shared turmoil between Stella and Kristopher was beautifully done. One of my favorite things about Lucy’s writing is how she gets her characters to connect on so many more levels that just physical. I was already invested in Stella and the hints of her romantic interest, but that prologue was a fantastic hook I didn’t even need, but nonetheless appreciated. I love the character development that carries over from story to story.
